As I said, there are some things I think I will never grow too old for. Like advent calendars. This year, I even have 3! One at the office (not pictured here), one as a gift to myself made from a wire heart and diy "bags" made from paper doilies.

The third one is a gift from my mom with beautiful vintage pictures from 1890-1930.

I love that bag! Perfect for the back to school look that I love for fall!

By the way: the sweater is from the Mama collection. Funny enough I have been buying 4 pieces from there in the last month without being pregnant. I love roaming through sections, most people neglect and have found some amazing items also in the mens or plus sized sections.

The weather has me starting my wishlist for fall/winter.

Right now, I feel like going for the college-preppy-retro-look with loafers, jackets and warm knits in colours like mustard, navy and caramel.

On the other hand, I know I'll also be wearing nicely cut dresses in black and grey. And slippers. I'm obsessed with slippers!

Plus I really need to invest in a timeless winter coat. I seriously can't be running around in my shabby thrifted one another winter.

So, the first 2 weeks are over and, surprisingly, I didn't find it hard at all to not buy clothes. Well, at least most of the time. I have been to zara and the swede with a friend and felt no urge to buy something.
There was, however, a small moment of weakness last weekend, when the silver shorts I had been eying went on sale. But then I convinced myself that I really don't need silver shorts, or do I???
Anyway, it would be nice if this necklace was still in stores when the ban is over.

Sooo... after reading this article, and considering my current financial situation, I have decided to challenge myself a bit.
I will not buy any clothes or accesoires until the end of august, that is in almost 3 months. I know I wouldn't be able to make it an entire year like some other people are currently trying. But I'm hoping I'll get through these 3 months to save some money so I can buy myself a DSLR ♥

But, to be honest, there will be 3 possible exceptions:
- the perfect denim shirt
- the perfect summer dress
- the perfect midweight grey cardigan
I've been searching for these items for the past 2 years and don't want to miss out on a chance, if any of them should pass my way. But I really don't think that's going to happen, as I intend to stay far away from all the stores ;)

So here I go... I know it's going to be quite a challenge
